We are an informal social group which, encouraged by the Norwich Alzheimer’s branch manager, started in April 2008 to help and support families affected by dementia. There was very little help for carers at that time and the aim of the group was to offer mutual support to  sufferers and their carers,  by sharing our varied  experiences as we travelled the difficult and challenging dementia path. A wealth of knowledge and experience is at hand within our group and friendships are formed through the ‘common bond’.  We have met regularly for 18 years and our aim remains the same. Support and friendship.
When our previous location closed and we required new premises,   we were warmly and willingly welcomed by the management and staff at the Bob Carter Centre who have continued to readily serve us at every meeting.
We are completely self-funded and have no affiliation to statutory or voluntary organisations.
We meet the  2nd Tuesday of every month  from 10.30am - 12 noon. 
No subscription fee but a small charge is made for  Coffee/Tea & biscuit.
